Hello all! Glad that you are still checking in on my progress. I am moving and shaking like crazy. I love when my mommy eats a good meal. The burst of energy really gets the party going in here. I'm getting a little cramped and so I'm taking the liberty of stretching my feet up into Mom's rib cage. Now, she can hardly make it upstairs without getting winded, and can we talk about the heartburn? Tums don't stand a chance of curing this case. Sorry, Mom. I know how much I'm giving you trouble now, but just think: you only have a couple more months to go. Then, one little smile from me and you'll forget all the pain I caused..at least, that's my plan!
In other news, Mom and Dad brought all the grandparents in for an ultrasound. Grandma Sharon and Great-Grandma Audrey came last Friday and then Grandma and Grandpa Gibb came on Wednesday. They came to see me moving around on the ultrasound and to see how to get to the hospital for the big day! You could see my lungs working. I'm practice-breathing the amniotic fluid in here, so that when I'm out of here I'll be ready to take my first breath. Wendi says that I'm about four pounds now, which Mom says is too big. (Look who's talking!) I think I'm just right! I finally let them get a good shot of my little face. So, here's the latest. This is a profile of my face. I'm looking up with my eye on the right and mouth on the left. Can you see it? Well, just pretend and go "Ahhh!" That's what everyone else does.
In this one, you can see the four chambers of my heart. You should hear it go!

Growth spurt, for Mommy at least...
As per my requests, the parents are leaving me alone with the ultrasounds for a little while. I knew I could get them to stop if I were persistant enough with my face-covering antics. I have them wrapped around my finger already. Ha!
Well, Mom is whining about this growth spurt she's going through. I turned from laying sideways to a more vertical orientation, and you should have seen what it did to Mom's belly. She pretty much woke up with a need for an entire new wardrobe. The new feeling of me in her rib cage gave Mom some heartburn and made her generally uncomfortable for a few days. Of course, she took it all out on Dad. Once I settled down out of her ribs, she felt a little relief. Too bad that won't last! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that all this new pressure is making her feet swell. I guess the only cute shoes she'll be buying anytime soon will be for me! Poor Mommy, making babies is tough work. But at the end of it all, she'll have a beautiful baby girl (if I do say so myself).
